Bus Ride

July 11, 2017 0 Comments

Sitting down in a bus yesterday, on my way back from the mall, one of the passengers gets into a pretty heated argument with the bus conductor and I'm rolling my eyes like "here we go again". They exchange several words and begin comparing each other "I beta pass you, see as you be" blah blah blah, pretty serious something. But hey, I'm the passenger that doesn't possibly bother myself with "bus wahala", I'm just praying in my head "God let me get to my bus stop in one piece".
On the ride home, I just thought to myself "Hey! everyone is something". I mean for a bus conductor and an "agbero" to be talking about who earns more per month or "who beta pass who", that's some real confidence they've got on who they are.
The value you place on yourself as a person is what matters the most, in comparison to what another person thinks about you. Repeat after me, "I am of great worth. I'm of high value".
Now it's not just about saying it! You've gotta think and act that way. Concentrate on what you have inside of you.
